Hi, king for pet portraits and I was enjoying painting much more. I have been doing pet
portraits ever since.
My name is Nethie Lockwood. I have been drawing and painting animals since I could hold a brush. If it is furry I have painted it! I became involved with portraits during my fine arts thesis at Ringling School of Art and Design.
Painting people got a mediocre reaction and was boring to me, but once I painted my friend’s cat I was hooked. Even professors started asking for pet portraits and I was enjoying painting much more. I have been doing pet
portraits ever since.
